The Children at Snaith Primary School plan to bury a Time Capsule to commemorate the 800th Anniversary of Snaith’s Market Charter.
Henry III awarded the charter in 1223 AD. Snaith Primary have been working together with Snaith and Cowick Together Community Heritage Group to create the time capsule. Pupils will have the opportunity to store items they see as being important today and what they think will be of interest in the future. The time capsule will be securely stored for future generations of Snaith Primary School.
